Surface preparation can be done on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Horizontal surfaces such as floors, sports courts, roof decks, streets and runways are routinely addressed with KRSI services. Vertical surfaces can also be successfully managed with successful outcomes. Vertical surfaces include tanks, interior and exterior walls and stairways. Integrated vacuum recovery can be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Preparation – Epoxies, polyurethanes, carpet glue, leveling compounds and mastic can all be removed very effectively with UHP water blasters. Any debris can be removed efficiently and disposed of properly with vacuum recovery if required. Our process has been used to remove paint off vertical surfaces and glues off floors.  UHP water blasting is ideal for numerous applications including removal of paint, stripe, thermoplastic, rubber, epoxy, mastic glues, acrylic coatings and curing compound.  

Profiling – Concrete surface profiling can accurately be done to the CSP 3-5 standard using UHP water blasting. Accurate profiling is critical for new coatings to be placed on a surface.  Profiling allows for the correct adhesion of the new materials. 

Removal – Many applications can be removed with UHP water blasting.  In additions, we can remove floor tiles with scraping equipment fast and efficiently.
