UHP water blasting is effective on numerous runway surfaces including concrete, porous friction course and plain asphalt. KRSI’s extensive experience ensures the equipment is used properly so that the surface will retain the integrity and grooving of the substrate material. Vacuum recovery is integrated into the UHP water blasting and removes debris. Debris removal eliminates the risk of debris being sucked into and damaging jet engines. Using UHP water blasting, the surface dries immediately and is ready for the new surface application.
