Ultra-high pressure (UHP) water blasting can quickly remove runway rubber build-up without using chemicals or causing damage to the runway. UHP water blasting can also be used to remove paint stripes, landing markings and curing compounds as needed. UHP water blasting is effective on numerous runway surfaces such as concrete, porous friction course asphalt and plain asphalt while retaining the integrity of the substrate material. The grooving and runway substrate are both preserved using UHP water blasting.
